His career began in skin cancer clinical trials, evolving into a leadership role at Open Medical, where he has spearheaded teledermatology solutions across more than 15 NHS Trusts.

To date, Tom’s work has facilitated the remote triage of over 100,000 skin cancer referrals nationwide. A career highlight includes establishing the South East London Teledermatology Network, an integrated digital triage system for King’s College and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals serving a population of 2 million. This deep-rooted passion for early detection led him to co-found Skintell, where he utilizes cutting-edge Deviskan technology to offer comprehensive total-body mapping available in London.

Dr. Veronique Bataille is a highly experienced Consultant Dermatologist who has been practicing in London since 1989. She provides expert care for both adults and children across a wide range of dermatological conditions.

Clinical Expertise:
Dr. Bataille divides her time between her private practice at The Medical Chambers Kensington and her NHS post at the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust As well as an academic position at Kings College. While she treats all skin types and conditions, she is an internationally recognized specialist in skin cancer, familial melanoma, and complex family cancer syndromes. Her training spans prestigious institutions, including St John’s Institute of Dermatology, The Royal London Hospital, and the renowned Sydney Melanoma Unit in Australia.

Research & Innovation
With a PhD in the genetic epidemiology of melanoma, Dr. Bataille remains at the forefront of medical research. She has spent over 20 years investigating the genetics of skin disease and is currently leading collaborative international research into how the gut microbiome and diet influence immunotherapy responses for advanced melanoma.

A prolific author and educator, Dr. Bataille has contributed to numerous national and international journals and co-authored European clinical guidelines for skin cancer. She served as an Assistant Editor for the Clinical and Experimental Dermatology Journal and the European Journal of Skin Cancer, and has acted as a consultant advisor to L’Oréal Paris.
