Tom Spector
Tom has been a driving force in NHS Dermatology for nearly a decade, bridging the gap between clinical research and national digital transformation. His career began in skin cancer clinical trials, evolving into a leadership role at Open Medical, where he has spearheaded teledermatology solutions across more than 15 NHS Trusts.
To date, Tom’s work has facilitated the remote triage of over 100,000 skin cancer referrals nationwide. A career highlight includes establishing the South East London Teledermatology Network, an integrated digital triage system for King’s College and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals serving a population of 2 million. This deep-rooted passion for early detection led him to co-found Skintell, where he utilizes cutting-edge Deviskan technology to offer comprehensive total-body mapping available in London.
